Add to plan Remove from plan

Houston Improv welcomes comedian and sitcom writer, Whitney Cummings, for six socially distanced shows.
With stand-up specials on both HBO and Comedy Central under her belt, Cummings is perhaps best known for co-creating and co-writing the Emmy-nominated CBS comedy series 2 Broke Girls. She also created and starred in the NBC series Whitney.
Her first book I'm Fine and Other Lies is available wherever books are sold and her film directorial debut The Female Brain is available for streaming on Hulu, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.
In 2019, she debuted her fourth stand up special Can I Touch It? on Netflix and launched her own podcast titled Good For You.
These shows were originally scheduled for early January 2021.
Social Distancing & COVID-19 Precautions
All guests will be seated at their own table, socially distanced from other attendees. Masks are required when not eating or drinking at your own private table for your party. Seating is limited at 50% capacity. Click here: link for more information about Houston Improv's COVID-19 precautions.
Businesses and organizations in Houston have opened under modified protocols, following guidelines administered by local health officials, the State of Texas and CDC. At this time, guidance from experts urges people to continue wearing face masks when in public spaces, practice social distancing of at least six feet, limit your touching of surfaces and frequently use hand sanitizer or soap and water to keep your hands clean.
Although vaccines have been approved and distribution has begun, supplies are still limited. Health officials have severely cautioned that it will take until late spring 2021 before the U.S. might be able to expect a level of herd immunity. In the meantime, masks are strongly advised to help curb the increasing spread of COVID-19 this winter.
Before heading out, take time to familiarize with your destination's requirements or restrictions at this moment, and be sure to contact them ahead of time with any questions or concerns.
Tickets are available by table only. General admission tables for most shows are $50 for two people $100 for four people $150 for six people. Preferred tables range from $70 to $210, based on the number of people.
