Express Children's Theatre presents Rhyme & Reason in a morning performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
With music, dance, and performance poetry, the show presents Black History from ancient Africa to today.
It features poetry by Houston Poet Laureate Emeritus, Deborah DEEP Mouton, and members of her slam poetry team. There will also be a special appearance by the world's first African American prima ballerina, Lauren Anderson of Houston Ballet.
