Held each Saturday, rain or shine, the Freedmen's Town Farmer's Market takes place in the historic community created by formerly enslaved people from surrounding plantations in Texas and Louisiana after the Civil War.
Every week, the public is welcome to check out the Farmer's Market, where they can shop locally grown ingredients, readymade foods, artisan jewelry, beauty products, clothing and more.
