Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents a weeklong event for children and families, Science Spooktacular: A Week of Halloween Fun.
Registrants for Science Spooktacular will enjoy daily activities ranging from spooky bedtime stories to creating slime in a fun science show.
This event will be held online.

Songs & Stories | Monday, October 19 – Enjoy virtually led spooky songs and bedtime stories.
Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt | Tuesday, October 20 – Do-it-yourself scavenger hunt in your backyard or neighborhood.
Crafts & Pumpkin Decorating | Wednesday, October 21 – Learn about Arboretum critters and decorate your pumpkin virtually with Arboretum Naturalists.
Halloween Trail & Photo Op at the Arboretum | Thursday, October 22 – Explore the Arboretum in a whole new way – imitate wildlife, search for critters, and finish the Halloween Trail for a special treat.
Science Show | Friday, October 23 – Conduct spooky experiments while watching a fun, interactive science show.
Animal Encounter & Activity Replay | Saturday, October 24 – Tune in for a replay of all recordings with a grand finale of an Animal Encounter with some special reptile friends.

Activity bags can be picked them up at the Nature Center Building between 9am to 4pm from Wednesday, October 14 through Sunday, October, 18.
