During the COVID-19 crisis, Rooftop Cinema Club in Uptown has joined forces with the city of Spring for a special drive-in movie screening experience featuring classic and beloved films.
Debuting with the classic film Grease, the series also will be screening classics like Toy Story 4, Do The Right Thing, Independence Day, and more.
Adults bringing children are responsible for checking individual movie’s ratings and determining if they’re appropriate.
There are multiple screenings some nights at 8:15pm and again around 10:45pm or 11pm, depending on the length of the first movie screened.
Tickets have proven very popular and most shows have or will sell out, so be sure to plan in advance. Food & Drink Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drink and food and beverages will be available on site, with contactless order and pick-up.
Cinema snacks such as popcorn, candy, and soda will be available, as well as menu items from Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. Admission Tickets are priced per vehicle and range from $28 (side view) to $35 (center view) most nights.
There are two free, community screenings each week, one on Monday and another on Tuesday. Ticket reservations are still required and are intended for those most impacted by COVID-19–whether financially, professionally, or personally.
