An inner Loop mainstay, Urban Harvest's open-air farmers market features more than 70 local vendors and food producers—including Atkinson Farms, Animal Farm, and Pat Greer's Kitchen—from within 180 miles of Houston. The market also continues to offer a drive-through service for guests who place orders in advance. Online & To-Go Orders Place your order online directly from market vendors (cut-off times vary by vendor), then on Saturday, go to the second floor of the parking garage near the elevators at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market between 8:30am and 11:30am to pick up the order. The Urban Harvest Farmers Market remains open on Saturday morning from 8am to noon. The market has implemented additional safety guidelines during this time, including required social distancing. Social Distancing & COVID-19 Businesses and organizations in Houston have opened under modified protocols, following guidelines administered by local health officials, the State of Texas and CDC. At this time, guidance from experts urges people to continue wearing face masks when in public spaces, practice social distancing of at least six feet, limit your touching of surfaces and frequently use hand sanitizer or soap and water to keep your hands clean. Although vaccines have been approved and distribution has begun, supplies are still limited. Health officials have severely cautioned that it will take until late spring 2021 before the U.S. might be able to expect a level of herd immunity. In the meantime, masks are strongly advised to help curb the increasing spread of COVID-19 this winter.
